Welcome to OMMA Shipping FAQ

We are a small team, but we do our best to ship your orders as quickly as possible. We know the feeling of running out of tea, and it’s never great.

Below you’ll find everything about free delivery, shipping days, timelines, pickup in Dublin, and taxes and customs.

Free delivery

• Ireland — on orders over €60
• United Kingdom — on orders over €70
• European Union — on orders over €80
• Rest of Europe — on orders over €120
• Worldwide — on orders over €200

Thresholds apply to the order total after discounts. Below the threshold, the delivery cost is shown at checkout before you pay.

Shipping days

Kanako-san ships orders every Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

• Orders placed before 10am on a shipping day ship the same day
• Orders placed after 10am ship on the next shipping day

Delivery timelines

Republic of Ireland & Northern Ireland
We use DPD. Orders arrive within 1–2 business days after shipping.

Europe & United Kingdom
We use DPD. Orders arrive within 3–5 business days after shipping.

United States & worldwide
We use UPS. Orders typically arrive within 1–2 weeks after shipping.

Once your order ships, you’ll receive an email with a tracking link. Please keep an eye on it. If the courier contacts you about customs or import charges, responding promptly helps avoid delays.

Free pickup in Dublin

Choose “Pickup” at checkout and collect your order at OMMA Café, Brown Thomas, Grafton Street, Dublin 2. We’ll email you when your order is ready. Please bring your order number.

❗ Taxes and customs (outside the EU)

Orders to the United Kingdom, the United States and other countries outside the EU are sent from Ireland. Prices on our website do not include import taxes, VAT, sales tax or customs duties that may be charged by local authorities. If applicable, these charges are set by the destination country and are usually collected by the courier before or on delivery.

• United Kingdom: UK import VAT may apply depending on the order value. Customs duties are uncommon for our products but may be charged in some cases.
• United States: Most orders are delivered without customs charges. For higher-value orders, import duties or taxes may occasionally apply.

We’re unable to predict or cover these charges, and they are the responsibility of the recipient. If customs fees are not paid, delivery may be delayed or the parcel returned to us.

Orders within the EU have no customs charges.

Christmas delivery

To receive your order before Christmas, please order by:

• Ireland & Northern Ireland — December 15th
• United Kingdom & Europe — December 12th
• United States & worldwide — December 10th

After these dates, our gift cards arrive instantly by email, and pickup in Dublin stays available until December 22nd.

Check your address

Please double-check your delivery address at checkout. If you spot a mistake, email us straight away and we’ll do our best to fix it before your order ships. Once the parcel has left us, we can’t change the address.

Delayed, lost or damaged parcels

If your parcel hasn’t arrived within 5 business days of the expected date, or arrives damaged, write to us at hello@omma.world with your order number (and a photo if something is damaged). We’ll sort it out with the courier and, if needed, send a replacement or refund.
