About OMMA Organic Signature First-Flush Matcha
Ceremonial grade. Grown on a small family farm in Miyazaki, milled in Shizuoka.

Sourced from a family-run farm in Miyazaki Prefecture, our matcha is made from the first flush of organic Okumidori leaves—carefully cultivated with deep respect for the land. The tencha is then traditionally milled in Shizuoka, one of Japan’s most historic tea-growing regions.

Mr. Ishikawa, the farmer, tends to each leaf with exceptional care. Before milling, the tencha undergoes a gentle light-roasting process that brings out its signature sweet aroma, soft umami, and a smooth, nutty finish reminiscent of cashew.
